A gentle 7-day practice for meeting your emotions with kindness.
This short course offers a simple daily way to begin understanding your inner world.
Each day, you will gently practice noticing an emotion, allowing it to be present, and offering it kindness.
You do not need to do this perfectly. You only need to begin gently.
A little kindness, practiced daily, can change the way you meet yourself.
The Three-Step Practice Used Each Day
- Recognize — notice what is here
- Allow — make space for the feeling
- Bless — offer kindness and care
For example:
“There is anger.”
“Anger, you are welcome here.”
“May my anger be well.”
How to Use This Course
You may do one day at a time, or return to the same day more than once.
Move slowly. Pause when needed. Let the course support you gently rather than pressure you.
The 7 Days
Day 1 — Noticing What Is Here
Begin by learning to recognize what you are feeling without judgment.
Day 2 — Naming the Feeling
Gently name the emotion or inner state that is present.
Day 3 — Allowing the Emotion
Practice making space for the feeling instead of pushing it away.
Day 4 — Befriending the Part
Begin meeting the feeling as a part of you that needs care.
Day 5 — Blessing with Kindness
Offer simple phrases of kindness to what you feel.
Day 6 — Listening More Deeply
Begin to sense what the emotion or part may be trying to communicate.
Day 7 — Living with Greater Kindness
Bring the whole practice together in daily life.
